The ferry was a blast! I met some cool people and we just hung out and had a good time. :) And I read a lot of my book. Don't worry... details to come!

Also, I am very very very pleased that Google Maps acknowledges sea routes as well as roads. It let me trace them on my map :) As concerned as I am that Google is taking over the world (or already has), at least they know there are other ways to travel than by road.
